Information we collect

We collect the information you give us: name, email address, organisation, the nature of your enquiry, budget range, timing and anything you write in a message field.

If you book a session, we also store the date and time you request and any notes you add.

If you use the client portal, we store your sign-in email, your engagement details, scope, timeline, invoices and messages related to your project.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, confirm fit, prepare a scope or quote, deliver work you have engaged us for, invoice you, and keep a record of what was agreed.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your enquiry to build advertising audiences.

Forms and booking submissions

Form and booking submissions are stored in our database and reviewed by a person. Consent language appears on every form. Marketing consent is never pre-selected, and you can decline it and still work with us.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. This may set a cookie or use local storage in your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

The pricing builder and ROI calculator store your inputs in your own browser so you do not lose them on refresh. Those values stay on your device unless you send them to us in a form.

Email communications

We email you about your enquiry, your booking and your project. If we ever run an announcement list, joining it will be a separate, explicit opt-in and every message will include an unsubscribe link.

Service providers

We use third parties to host the site, store data, send email, run project management and process payments. They only receive what they need to provide their service, and some of them process data outside Canada.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a conversation later. Client project and financial records are kept as long as Canadian record-keeping obligations require. We delete what we no longer need.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@methodsandmoments.ca and we will respond within 30 days. Some records must be retained where law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
