Two halves of one job, under one roof

Marketing now has two halves. One is human: original ideas, taste, trust, real rooms, real conversations. The other is machine: automation, AI agents, personalization, lead routing, clean data. Most companies pick one half and fake the other, usually by adding more effort to the half they already chose. We work the whole line, and every step between, so your brand feels human and your follow-up never sleeps.

CONTRIBUTED TO WORK ACROSS MORE THAN $25 MILLION IN CUMULATIVE MARKETING BUDGETS

What the name means

Methods & Moments

Methods

The plans, systems, tools and processes that make marketing work, the work customers do not see, but that decides whether they find you, hear from you and buy.

Moments

The interactions people notice and remember, the sentence they understand, the follow-up that still sounds like a person, the experience that makes them want to come back.

Automate what should scale. Humanize what should matter.

The duality is the point. We do not choose between technology and people. We decide where each creates the most value and connect them into one experience, so repeat work runs faster while judgment, taste and trust stay with people.

Vision

Marketing that is measured and remembered. Launches that sell out, events people still talk about, and systems quietly bringing in enquiries a year later, so the work keeps paying long after the room clears.

Mission

Automate what should scale. Humanize what should matter. We hand the repeat work to machines and keep people on the calls that need judgment, so you spend less time on admin and more on the parts customers actually feel.

We record the thinking as we go, so your team can reuse it without another meeting.

Why one team instead of five suppliers

Because five suppliers means you became the project manager. The designer never talks to the developer. The event never connects to the follow-up. The tool nobody set up sits there costing money. Specialization is useful. Hand-offs are where things die.

Someone has to hold both ends, the room people walk into and the data trail it leaves behind. That's us. So the moment gets remembered and the result gets counted. And if all you need is a logo, we're the wrong call, we'll say so.

Advisory or delivery?

Two separate ways to work with us, on purpose. Which one you want depends on whether you're hiring advice or a team to do the work.

The simple version

Want senior advice, or to train your own team? That's the one-to-one work. Want a team to plan it, build it and ship it? That's Methods & Moments.

How we behave

  • A person makes the important calls. Always.
  • Automate what should scale. Humanize what should matter.
  • We only promise what we can deliver, then we deliver it.
  • Precision where it counts. Room for the unexpected where it earns attention.
  • A plan nobody owns isn't a plan.
  • Technology should make work better, not just cheaper.
  • You'll always know the scope, the cost and who's deciding.
  • The specialists we bring in have names, and we stand behind their work.

Rachael DePatie

Founder & Creative Director

Rachael has spent the last ten years helping BC businesses launch things, new homes, small brands, new companies. She has worked on projects with a combined value of more than $2 billion, that's the value of the projects she contributed to, not value she created alone, and has contributed to work across more than $25 million in cumulative marketing budgets, shared with developers, sales teams and other partners. The numbers describe the scale; the part she cares about is the room full of people on opening day, the buyer who finally sees themselves in a home, and the founder who stops dreading marketing.

She has stood in unfinished presentation centres and sat across the table from owners and founders, which means she learns how something is actually made before she tells its story. You get a senior person making the calls, so the thinking stays sharp and the work stays accountable.

Gellie Menz

Marketing Manager

Gellie keeps the day-to-day work moving: content calendars, campaign execution, platform management and the small details that make a launch feel complete. She works across organic social, paid media support, email sequences and event promotion, so the strategy actually reaches the people it was built for.

She is the reason a post goes out on time, a landing page link gets checked, and a follow-up sequence actually follows up. That combination of care and consistency is what lets the senior thinking scale without losing its shape.

Collective knowledge, not one person's memory

Marketing usually depends on someone remembering where the files are, what you said in the last meeting, or why a campaign worked. That is fragile, and expensive, because every new person has to rediscover what you already paid to learn. We build shared systems, documented decisions, reusable templates, tracked campaigns and AI-assisted research, so what we learn on your project stays with the team, not in one inbox.

When we figure out what makes your buyers tick, we capture it. When a campaign performs, we log why. When a process repeats, we automate the parts that should scale and keep the judgment human, so your project keeps moving even when someone is away, and you never pay for the same discovery twice.

We don't inflate our résumé

Every story on our Work page says exactly what the team did and what the result was. If we didn't own the outcome, we don't claim it. That shouldn't be unusual, but it is.

Details are chosen deliberately, so the finished work still looks right a year later.

We keep moving after launch, so the work keeps earning, not just launches.

Two doors. Pick the one you need.

Some people want to be taught. Some want the work done. We keep those separate so you aren't paying agency rates for advice, or advice rates for delivery. The wrong door is expensive either way.
